The Holidays are always such a crazy time and this last one was no exception. During the hustle of the holiday season, I got to shoot one of my favorite clients, the Kim Family. With the unusually amazing weather we got, we captured these photos in November when the lighting was outstanding. Here is just a handful of what the Kim’s ended up with for their collection and I got the privilege of being apart of it for another season.

Introducing my new buddy Rusty!

This photo is of his first day home after picking him up from the pound. This little guy is my first every own dog and I feel so great rescuing him, it is very rewarding. The love and bond I experienced is unlike any I have ever had.

The best was when I introduced him to Dexter, my sweetheart’s dog and now Rusty’s new favorite buddy. To capture him checking out his new backyard and new friend for the first time was so exciting. I am so glad I had my camera. This is a shot of Rusty checking out his new digs while getting a snuggle from Dexter.

It is moments like this which remind me why I love photography so much. I decided my next contest will be collecting pictures of my fan’s dogs and I will choose five pictures where I will have you all vote for the winner of a free photo shoot. I can’t wait to see all your pictures of your doggies!

Pumpkin Patch 2011

Nothing brings in the fall season better than a trip to the pumpkin patch! Watching my little ones run around Underwood Farms and trying to find their favorite pumpkin in between playing, climbing on tractors, feeding goats and surviving corn mazes was a great time. Nothing reminds us more of how wonderful life is than witnessing it through the eyes of my kids. Simple pleasures always seem to bring them the most laughs, smiles and fun. It’s their little way of saying, relax, play in the dirt, and check out a gross pumpkin in which I love so much. There is nothing I love more than to capture my own kids!

Love Crush Bowtique

Love Crush Bowtique has some adorable headbands! I loved them so much that I approached Kelly (owner and designer) with her beautiful designs because I had to add them to my prop selection.

I also took some product shots even though Kelly knows her way around a camera and has done an amazing job doing her very own shots and edits. Her creative ability is inspiring and I look forward to seeing her next new creations!

The Javadizadeh Twins

What’s better than one adorable child? Two sweet kids! The Javadizaheh boys were so much fun to shoot. One of my favorite things about shooting twins, especially when they are fraternal, is finding the similarities. Whether it is their smile, their laugh, their gestures, there is always something you can spot. Then there is also the quest to finding what makes them unique in their own way and being sure to snap those qualities as well. It is what makes my career so fun, the moment I get a great shot where I capture the inner beauty and charisma which makes each little one special in their own way.

I haven’t had much time to blog recently, but it isn’t for the lack of work!!! I’ve done some pretty fun things lately and I will be sharing only a tiny piece of it. I wish I had time to share more. I had the delight to being a part shooting two two birthday parties, a very creative bubble gum 1st birthday party, another awesome shared brother’s birthday party, fun on the 4th of July, fun amazing families, head shots, and a lifestyle/product production shoot for Baby Bella Maya. Needless to say, I am soon going to be offering some exciting new packages in the future so stay tuned!

I also recently moved into our new home, so what would the times be without some wonderful memories captured digitally. Here’s to a busy summer! Cheers!

Livingston Twins

Shooting twins can be some of the most challenging, yet rewarding shoots to do. I felt right at home with these twin sisters because I also have a twin sister myself. It’s always exciting to get one child to give you the laughs and smiles for the camera, but when you have two, it’s very exciting! Needless to say, when the kids are easy and fun, it makes the job so much more creative, which is what I got with the Livingston Twins.

Both girls were not only fun to shoot individually, but together as well. They got along well and loved to pose in their cute rainbow tights and puffy skirts. The purple shoes topped off the outfits and with these cute threads and energetic personalities, it turned into one fantastic time with no dull moments.

Up next is to add in Mom and Dad, yes, a family shoot is soon in order!
