The Holidays are always such a crazy time and this last one was no exception. During the hustle of the holiday season, I got to shoot one of my favorite clients, the Kim Family. With the unusually amazing weather we got, we captured these photos in November when the lighting was outstanding. Here is just a handful of what the Kim’s ended up with for their collection and I got the privilege of being apart of it for another season.
Introducing my new buddy Rusty!
This photo is of his first day home after picking him up from the pound. This little guy is my first every own dog and I feel so great rescuing him, it is very rewarding. The love and bond I experienced is unlike any I have ever had.
The best was when I introduced him to Dexter, my sweetheart’s dog and now Rusty’s new favorite buddy. To capture him checking out his new backyard and new friend for the first time was so exciting. I am so glad I had my camera. This is a shot of Rusty checking out his new digs while getting a snuggle from Dexter.
It is moments like this which remind me why I love photography so much. I decided my next contest will be collecting pictures of my fan’s dogs and I will choose five pictures where I will have you all vote for the winner of a free photo shoot. I can’t wait to see all your pictures of your doggies!
Nothing brings in the fall season better than a trip to the pumpkin patch! Watching my little ones run around Underwood Farms and trying to find their favorite pumpkin in between playing, climbing on tractors, feeding goats and surviving corn mazes was a great time. Nothing reminds us more of how wonderful life is than witnessing it through the eyes of my kids. Simple pleasures always seem to bring them the most laughs, smiles and fun. It’s their little way of saying, relax, play in the dirt, and check out a gross pumpkin in which I love so much. There is nothing I love more than to capture my own kids!
